Photos of Hill Manor Implosion

Please be patient while photo loads. These two pictures were taken from Lincoln St. less than two hours before the implosion. At this time, the building is wired with the explosives and we could see the demolition workers in and around it making the final preparations for the blast.

Our implosion photos were taken from the corner of West Kinney Street and Howard Street.

Hill Manor was very close to an occupied apartment building across the street. Residents of that building had to be evacuated for the blast. The pile of debris landed safely away from the apartment building. This is one of the taller piles of debris we've seen in a while, but it was a pretty tall building to start with. Everything landed as planned.
